Waukesha Looks Towards Memorial

Waukesha Looks Towards Memorial

They are starting the work on a new, permanent memorial for the Waukesha Christmas Parade victims.

Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly yesterday said the commission in charge of the memorial is looking for design ideas. No one is sure just what the memorial will look like, though planners say they want to have small markers along the parade route to remember the six people killed in the attack.

Waukesha is hoping to finish the memorial by the two-year anniversary of the attack, in November of next year.
