One person is dead, one person is missing, and one person is recovering from burns after a fire at a historic Door County bar.
Flames gutted Butch’s Bar in Sturgeon Bay early yesterday morning. Firefighters say there were people living in some of the nine apartments above the bar. One body was found in the rubble, another person is unaccounted for. Fire crews say a third victim was taken to a local burn center for treatment.
No one is saying how the fire started. Investigators say they are looking for a cause.
