The State of Wisconsin is investing a million dollars to help recruit more teachers.
Governor Tony Evers announced today the funding is going toward the state’s Teacher Training and Recruitment program. Non-profits in Wisconsin can apply for up to 500-thousand dollars in grant money through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s Expanded Wisconsin Fast Forward program. Applications are due by March 4th.
