A new wall honoring our veterans will be celebrated by a ribbon cutting ceremony in Marshfield’s Community Center on Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 21, 2022 at 2 p.m.
The Veterans Wall of Honor lists over 2,200 deceased veterans names from Marshfield displayed on a patriotic wall. The display is located across from the Parks and Recreation office on the north end of the center. The project is spearheaded by local resident and alderman Tom Buttke along with his two sisters, Renie Rehmer, Cathy Tauschek, Alan and Connie Jonett along with dozens of volunteers Buttke recruited for the project.
