Tomah Pauses Planned Referendum

School leaders in Tomah are walking away from a school referendum that looks doomed to fail.

The city’s school district last week said it is pausing plans to ask voters for up to 96 million-dollars for new schools because it doesn’t look like the plan would pass. No word on the next steps for new buildings and upgrades.
