A Milwaukee man on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list is captured in Mexico.
The FBI office in Milwaukee says police in Zapopan near Guadalajara found and arrested Octavio Juarez Corro on Thursday. He was placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list this past September for his alleged role in the 2006 Memorial Day picnic shooting at South Shore Park in Milwaukee during which two people died and three others were injured.
Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman now says “we are one step closer to bringing justice and closure” for all involved. The shooting remained unresolved the past 16 years until now.
