It’s your annual reminder not to swerve to avoid a deer or other animal in the road.
The Wisconsin State Patrol yesterday shared pictures of a semi truck that had crashed into the front of a home in Fond du Lac County last week because the driver was trying to avoid hitting a deer. Troopers say the driver swerved to miss the deer, only to lose control and crash into the home. No one was hurt. The State Patrol says it’s always better to hit an animal in the road than risk swerving and hitting something else.
