Add Dane County to the list of people and places suing the makers of PFAS chemicals.
County Executive Joe Parisi yesterday announced plans to file a lawsuit to try and cover the cost of the environmental clean-up of the foam. PFAS chemicals are used in all manner of things, but are widely used in firefighting foam. Parisi says the foam polluted the soil and water near the Dane County Regional Airport. Parisi says he wants to hold the “big corporations” that make the foam accountable.
