WI DOC Suspends Visits

In-person visits at Wisconsin prisons are suspended because of coronavirus.

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections says visitors won’t be allowed in Wisconsin prisons until at least early February.  There is an exception for religious reasons and emergency workers, but visitors will need to test negative for coronavirus before entering a prison.  The Department of Corrections says about six percent of prisoners in the state have the virus.
