Authorities in St. Croix County say alcohol was a factor in a deadly wreck there.
It happened just after midnight yesterday near St. Joseph Township. The sheriff’s office says 34-year-old Bridget Clifton died when a pickup truck driver smashed into her minivan. Investigators say the truck driver, 39-year-old Benjamin Blietz, showed signs of impairment. The St. Croix County District Attorney’s Office is now weighing possible homicide charges in the case.
