The top Republican in the Wisconsin Senate says there need to be changes at the Wisconsin Elections Commission, but he’s not ready to get rid of it all together.
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu yesterday said he’s not ready to ‘blow-up’ the agency that manages elections in the state. Some Republican lawmakers are ready to get rid of WEC. They say election managers in the state allowed for the opportunity for fraud in the 2020 election, and say election officials have refused to answer any questions about just what happened.
