A Dane County Sheriff’s deputy is expected to make a full recovery after being attacked by a suspect.
On Friday a suspect who had gotten injured during a domestic violence incident was being treated at Meriter ER when he attacked a deputy trying to arrest him. The deputy was subsequently treated and released from the hospital for facial injuries. Madison Police and the injured deputy subdued and arrested the suspect who now faces charges of battery to a law enforcement officer.
