The New Year’s Day snowfall is predicted to subside overnight to be followed by frigid temperatures today in Madison.
The city snowfall accumulation near five inches in some neighborhoods will be frozen in place at least through Tuesday. Highs around the region today will top out at ten-degrees. Monday the mercury will reach into the low 20s and by Tuesday into the low 30s.
