It’s a reminder for fishermen across the state.
Rescue crews in Onalaska yesterday pulled two men from Lake Onalaska after they got stuck while ice fishing. Firefighters say the fishermen’s boat hit a weak spot in the ice, and they became stuck. No one was hurt. Crews figure the two were stuck for about 40 minutes. Firefighters say everyone needs to be careful of spotty ice conditions at this point in the winter.
