Cleanup Continues After Tornadoes Hit Chippewa Valley

Tornadoes are now confirmed to have been part of the destructive storms that hit west central Wisconsin this week.

Yesterday the National Weather Service confirmed there were three EF-2 tornadoes that swept through the region mainly affecting Clark and Chippewa counties.  The town of Stanley’s Chief of Police Lance Weiland says the damage is widespread from the tornadoes that hit Wednesday night into early Thursday.  Along with Stanley, the tornadoes hit near Neillsville, Weston and Fivemile Creek in Eau Claire.

There are no reports of injuries.
