The federal court challenge to Wisconsin’s to-be-drawn political map will continue.
The United States Supreme Court last week refused to dismiss a challenge to the map. Democratic lawmakers and activists are hoping to have a federal court draw the state’s new political boundaries. Republican lawmakers tried, but Governor Evers vetoed their map. Republicans want the Wisconsin Supreme Court to decide the maps, not the federal court. The maps are supposed to be finished in time for the spring elections.
