Officials in Green Bay say there is a significant escalation of gun violence in the city and they have a plan to reduce it.
Police Chief Chris Davis says today there will be an increased presence of police as one way to stem the violence. But the chief says crime fighting is a team effort and the community must also play an important role. Davis is urging anyone who may have information about an incident or who notices something suspicious to be proactive and call police or leave an anonymous tip with CrimeStoppers.
