WI Man Faces Prison Time After Thefts

A northern Wisconsin man who went on a stealing bender this spring is headed to prison as part of a plea deal.

A judge yesterday sentenced Jonathon Bishop to five years in prison for breaking into two homes in Rothschild and then stealing a police car. It all happened back in April. Police arrested Bishop for the break-ins, but he managed to wiggle free and then speed off in the cop car. The plea agreement also ends a number of Bishop’s other pending cases in Marathon County.
