It’s that time of year again.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is asking drivers to look-out for snowplows, and to give them room to work. WIS-DOT says the December Law of the Month is the reminder that drivers must get out of the way of snowplows. That includes not following them too closely or driving too fast on slick roads. WIS-DOT says most crashes involving snowplows happen because a driver is too close or going too fast, and slams into the back of the plow.
