Police in Madison say a student faces charges after getting caught with a loaded gun at school.
No one was hurt during the incident that happened Thursday at La Follette High School. The 18-year old is in the Dane County Jail awaiting a hearing in court on Monday. The weapon was stolen. Madison Police credit the school principal and other staffers with keeping a cool head which helped avoid the weapon from actually being fired during the confrontation with the student.
