Friday Feel Good: Small Child, BIG Impact

As we recently adjusted our clocks and settle into the time change, many people use that as a reminder to check their homes smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alerts as well. 

For this week’s Friday feel good, we hear about quick thinking kid and a call that her family won’t ever forget.

There is a 9-year-old out of Boston who saved her family’s lives by unlocking her dad’s phone, using his facial recognition, so she could call 911 as they suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning.  Her name is Jayline Barbosa Brandao and her parents talking about her fast and heroic action. 

And with that we are reminded that a feel good story can also sometimes serve as a safety refresher heading into the cold months here in Wisconsin and snow on the way this weekend.
