Will we see Kyle Rittenhouse take the stand at his trial?
The prosecution rested yesterday, and Rittenhouse’s defense began with their case. Rittenhouse’s lead lawyer told jurors that Rittenhouse would likely testify. Yesterday, the first defense witnesses were two of the people who were at the car lot in Kenosha where the trouble began in August of 2020. They said they were asked to protect the lot, and told the jury about the behavior of the first man who Rittenhouse shot. The trial continues today.
