MKE Plans Boost For Snowplow Pay

A shortage of drivers with commercial licenses is prompting the City of Milwaukee to boost wages for snowplow drivers.

The Department of Public Works said today the city continues to face a shortage of drivers as do communities across the country.  The minimum hourly wage for drivers who are residents is going up to just under 23-dollars.  Non-residents of the city will have their hourly rate wage raised to just over 22-dollars.
