Eau Claire may not have a new city manager by mid-January.
The search committee tasked with finding a new city manager says people are still applying for the job, and they’re not sure they can complete interviews and such by January 15th. So far, the Recruitment Committee says 13 people have applied to be Eau Claire’s next city manager. City Council Vice President Catherine Emmanuelle says it will likely be a “little past” the mid-January deadline before they make their recommendation.
