Police in Chippewa Falls are giving the all-clear after an incident near Hillcrest Elementary School yesterday.
Officers closed part of the road on the West Hill yesterday afternoon after getting a 9-1-1 call about a man in a truck who was talking about guns. Police say the man in the truck was having a mental health issue. They talked him out, found that he wasn’t armed, and deescalated the situation. The incident is under investigation, and there are no charges as of yet.
