Polls Show Low Popularity For Elected Officials

The latest Marquette Law School Poll says both Governor Tony Evers and Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson would lose their elections if voters went to the polls today.

The poll has shown Johnson with low approval ratings, but this latest poll has his negatives up to 42 percent. The governor’s positive reviews fell by five points since the last Marquette Law School Poll in August. In addition, pollsters say 53 percent of voters asked say they want “someone else” to be elected governor next year.
