Community members are encouraged to safely dispose of expired or unwanted medications during the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
70% of people who misuse prescription opioids got their first pill from a family member or friend. Help prevent misuse in our county by safely disposing of medication. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 23rd from 10am to 2pm in Altoona at the Police Department (1904 Spooner Ave) and in Eau Claire at Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire (curbside service at 2116 Craig Rd, Medical Offices, Entrance B).
