The UW-Madison mask policy prompts the move of a Senator’s podcast to a different venue.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz was scheduled to record his podcast at UW-Madison last night but that changed after a disagreement about the university’s requirement that people wear masks indoors at all times. UW-Madison Young Americans for Freedom hosted the event and said it was moved to the Wisconsin Masonic Center to accommodate the audience. Cruz tweeted that the university is trying to stifle free speech.
