The search for a missing Eau Claire man has come to a sad end.
The sheriff’s office yesterday said searchers found 64-year-old Gregory Steinacker shortly after 6:00pm. He was located deceased in a tree stand within the Eau Claire County Forest. His family said no one had seen him since the last week of September. The sheriff says there’s no sign of foul play.
Investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.
