Mayor Tom Barrett yesterday said the city is applying to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
Milwaukee was supposed to host last year, but the coronavirus struck and left Milwaukee with a ‘virtual’ convention that meant no one actually came to the city. Barrett says Milwaukee knows what it takes to land the convention and expects to be a top contender.
