Generac is talking about millions of dollars in investments and hundreds of new jobs.
The company yesterday said its planned expansion in Pewaukee could mean more than 700 new jobs. Generac CEO Aaron Jagdfeld says they are investing more than 53-million-dollars into the expansion. About 300 of the new jobs will be in sales, and those jobs will be headquartered in the old American Family Insurance building off I-94 in Pewaukee. The state of Wisconsin is guaranteeing another nine-million-dollars in tax credits if Generac creates all 700 jobs.
The company already qualified for 10-million in help from the state.
