Wisconsin is inching closer to a major coronavirus vaccination milestone.
The state’s Department of Health Service yesterday reported that nearly 70-percent of adults have had one dose of the vaccine. The actual number is 67-point-six-percent of people over 18 have gotten one dose. A little over 64-percent of adults have gotten both doses. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM WI DHS.
What about beyond that?
Some folks in Wisconsin can get their third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday announced it is offering the Pfizer vaccine booster shot. The boosters are available to anyone 65-and-older, anyone over 50 with certain health conditions, and anyone living in long term care. DHS says others with health conditions could be eligible for the booster under certain circumstances.
The Pfizer booster is only for the people who got the Pfizer shot originally.
