There’s a question as to whether school board members can speak at school board meetings in Wausau.
The city’s school district said it wants to know if board members can use time during the public comment portion of school board meetings to speak. There is some worry it violates Wisconsin’s Open Meetings Act. The conversation comes as school board debate mask policies, and some of those conversations are heated.
