Police in Fond du Lac are remembering one of their officers and calling his death a ‘line of duty death.’
The city’s police chief says 26-year-old Joseph Kurer died from the coronavirus but didn’t say how or where he caught it. Kurer joined the Fond du Lac Police Department in 2018. The chief is not offering any other specifics about Kurer’s death. His funeral arrangements are pending.
