The City of La Crosse is planning big things for its downtown area.
On Monday night, the City Planning Commission approved the Imagine 2040 La Crosse Downtown Plan that is now 18 months in the works. Hundreds of meetings, listening sessions, community feedback, and workshops have led to this point.
The goal is to make downtown more connected in creating a network of neighborhoods that incorporate the natural environment and maximize real estate opportunities across the area.
