The Wisconsin Supreme Court is denying a state conservative law group’s request to block the Dane County Health Department’s mask mandate.
The 4-3 decision came down late Friday, blocking the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty’s request for a temporary injunction on the mandate. The reason given by the court was that the mandate did not fall under the court’s jurisdiction. Two weeks ago, Dane County health officials implemented the mask mandate for anyone in an enclosed building, regardless of vaccination status.
