A Greenfield police officer is hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by gunfire multiple times following a police pursuit.
The suspect in question was killed during a shootout with police. The chase started with a traffic stop on the outskirts of Greenfield and ended about two miles away near South 27th and West Becher Streets in Milwaukee. The man exited his vehicle and began shooting, wounding an officer multiple times before being gunned down by two other officers.
