Two of the three finalists for D.A. in Eau Claire County currently work in the office.
The county released the list of finalists yesterday. Peter Rindal and Tiffany Winter are both assistant district attorneys, while Edward Minser is an assistant D.A. in Chippewa County. Eau Claire County’s sheriff, the city’s police chief, and several judges are backing Rindal for the job. Whoever is chosen will serve the rest of former D.A. Gary King’s term in office.
