A man lost his life in a motorcycle crash.
It was on Saturday, August 14, at approximately 12:43 a.m., when the Menomonie Police Department was dispatched to one vehicle motorcycle crash near the intersection of Hwy 29 West and River Road in the City of Menomonie. When officers arrived on scene, they found a motorcycle on its side near a driveway to the Menomonie Community Services Department building. Officers located a 38-year-oldmale that appeared to have been ejected from the motorcycle nearby and adjacent to the roadway.
Officers rendered aid and summoned assistance from medical personnel with the Menomonie Fire Department, but the male was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Menomonie Police Department.
