The pride of Amery, Wisconsin, Alicia Monson is competing on the world stage in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The first-time Olympian is running in the women’s ten-thousand meter finals tomorrow morning local time. This after qualifying with a third place finish in the semifinals.
With the Tokyo Games pushed back a year, Alicia was able to finish her degree at UW-Madison, all while training for what she calls a “24-hour-a-day job.”
