A jury in northeast Wisconsin is set to hear the evidence in a 45-year-old double murder starting today.
Raymond Vannieuwenhoven is on trial for the murder of David Schuldes and his fiancé, Ellen Matheys, back in 1976. They were shot during a camping trip at McClintock Park in Silver Cliff. Investigators linked Vannieuwenhoven to the case through DNA and an online database.
