Speeding Leads to 5th OWI

An Iowa woman picks up a 5th OWI in Wisconsin.

It was on Friday, January 16th at approximately 6:40 PM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on State Highway 27 for a speed violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, the Trooper detected the odor of marijuana and observed the driver displaying signs of impairment.

A subsequent investigation including field sobriety tests was conducted. Mr. Lneneicka was arrested for operating a motor vehicle 5th offense. An evidentiary blood test was conducted at a local hospital and was taken to the Chippewa County Jail. Mr. Lneneicka was also cited for operating with a revoked license, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
