One city of Eau Claire worker has lost his job and another could lose his job over Menards rebate cards.
Prosecutors say Steven Roscoe and Jason Palmer each spent a few hundred dollars in rebate cards that should have gone to the city. Roscoe left his job as a parks supervisor last month, and Palmer is on unpaid leave until the criminal case against him is over. Prosecutors are moving ahead with misdemeanor theft charges. Roscoe worked for the city for 30 years. Palmer has been with the city for 15 years.
