On July 9th, 2021 at about 5PM, the Buffalo County Communications Center received a report of a two vehicle crash with injury on State Highway 35 near Highschool Road in the City of Alma.
Deputies were informed that both vehicles were traveling northbound on Highway 35 when the lead vehicle attempted to make a left turn into a wayside and was hit from the rear by the following car. The operator of the struck 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was identified as James Revels of Reedsburg WI and was towing a boat and trailer at the time of the crash. The boat and trailer sustained minor damages.
The striking vehicle, a 2011 Kia Sorento was operated by Stephanie Reinhardt of Nelson. All parties involved were assessed by EMS however, nobody was transported.
