Wisconsin’s hair braiding service providers can now conduct business without a license.
Governor Tony Evers signed a measure this week removing the occupational license requirement for natural hair braiders. The measure removes the need to undergo a process for nearly a year at a cost of thousands of dollars for a license to conduct natural hair braiding that doesn’t use dyes or other chemicals.
