An Eau Claire woman was arrested for OWI with children in the car.
On 7/11/21 at approximately 2:00 AM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on Hastings Way at Clairemont Ave in the City of Eau Claire for a speed violation. Upon approach the Trooper detected an odor of an intoxicant coming from the driver.
The driver Florencia Lopez-Cruz from Eau Claire was field tested and subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Passengers in the vehicle included a 16-year-old a 15-year-old and a 1-year-old.
