Boaters in Wisconsin are being advised to use caution this Independence Day weekend.
The state Department of Natural Resources says there are 20-thousand more active boating registrations this season compared to before the appearance of COVID-19. Lieutenant Darren Kuhn with the Wisconsin DNR says with so many boaters on the water, it becomes even more important than usual for everyone to avoid alcohol consumption and wear a life jacket.
