Door County’s sheriff is looking into how a young man from Madison drowned over the weekend.
The 24-year-old was pulled from Clark Lake in the town of Sevastopol about 8:30 Saturday night. The sheriff’s office is not naming the man as they are waiting to speak to his family. Rescuers from the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department, Jacksonport Fire Department, Door County Emergency Services Department, the Door County Sheriff’s Office, and the Door County Dive Team all helped in the search.
