Environmental groups want to get involved in a Wisconsin lawsuit over pollution control laws.
Midwest Environmental Advocates asked the Waukesha County Circuit Court if they could help defend the state in the lawsuit. Wisconsin Manufactures and Commerce and Leather Rich Inc. claim the state is violating the law regarding environmental cleanup programs because they changed the rules without following the process. MEA says going through the rule-making process is too hard and doesn’t mean the rules will be implemented.
