Prosecutors in La Crosse are not going to file voter fraud charges against nearly a dozen people who registered to vote out of the local UPS store.
The D.A. said none of the people appeared to be looking to break the law. Many of the UPS voters are retirees who have their mail forwarded to the store in the off season, and at least one voter said they are homeless. The Wisconsin Elections Commission identified the voters as possible fraudsters in a report last month.
